Join OncologyEducation at the 4th annual Canadian Geriatric Oncology Conference to develop knowledge and skills on how to assess older adults with cancer, understand and manage issues unique to the care of older adults with cancer undergoing treatment, and acquire strategies to implement geriatric principles into clinical practice when caring for
older adults with cancer. This 1.5 day conference serves to strengthen the capacity of healthcare professionals in the field of geriatric oncology, to optimize treatment of older adults with cancer. Canadian leading faculty will discuss strategies to improve outcomes of diverse populations of older adults with cancer and their caregivers.

Abstract Submission Guidelines & Requirements
Residents, Students and fellows are invited to submit an abstract of their research between September 22 and November 22, 2024. All selected poster presenters (Lead Author) will have their conference registration fee waived. The reviewing committee will select 5 abstracts from those submitted for oral presentation; the latter is scheduled for in-person poster presentation at the Canadian Melanoma Conference in Vancouver, BC. One author for each of the 5 selected abstracts will receive a $3,000 CAD honorarium to assist with accommodations and travel to and from the conference.
