Dr. Yasser Abou Mourad is Director, Leukemia/BMT Fellowship and Training of British Columbia. He is Senior Hematologist and Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Vancouver General Hospital and BC Cancer Agency. Dr. Abou Mourad is an active NCI and NCIC researcher taking part in multiple prospective national and international studies. He is an author and Co-author of more than forty publications in peer reviewed respected journals. He has published on adult ALL therapy and has been invited to speak on this topic regionally, nationally, and internationally.
Dr. Jill Fulcher is Assistant Professor, Clinical Investigator in the Department of Medicine and Attending Malignant Hematologist at the Ottawa Hospital, Ontario since November 2016. Her special interest is Acute Leukemia particularly Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in the Adolescent Young Adult population.
Prior to moving to Ottawa, she completed a Leukemia/Blood and Marrow Transplantation Fellowship at the BC Cancer Agency/Vancouver General Hospital, Vancouver, BC.
She has a PhD in Medicine and Therapeutics from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland and completed her undergraduate medical education in 2006 at University College Dublin, Ireland. In 2009, she became a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland having completed her General Internal Medicine training at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. From 2010 to 2015 she undertook Higher Specialist Training in Clinical Hematology with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and in 2015 became a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathology (FRCPath UK).
