Dr. Parneet Cheema is a Medical Oncologist at the William Osler Health System with a focus in thoracic, and skin malignancies. She is head of medical oncology/hematology and cancer research. Dr. Cheema completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of Calgary, followed by Internal Medicine, and Medical Oncology training at the University of Toronto. Dr. Cheema also completed a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Toronto. She has been principle investigator for clinical trials in the areas of melanoma and lung cancer including immunotherapies and targeted therapy. Dr. Cheema’s particular research interests include optimizing implementation of advances in personalized medicine and immunotherapy into day to day clinical practice.
Dr. Anthony Brade is the Division Head of Radiation Oncology at the Credit Valley Hospital/Peel Regional Cancer Centre and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Brade completed his medical degree at McGill University, and a PhD in Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto. He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Toronto and a fellowship in drug development at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. His clinical areas of interest include thoracic and GI malignancies, brain metastases and stereotactic body radiotherapy. His research interests include stereotactic body radiotherapy, and interaction between molecularly-targeted therapies and radiotherapy.
