The following three presentations were videotaped at the Ontario Hematological Disorders Conference (October 15 - 17) in Niagara on the Lake.

Program 1- PRIMA: Evaluating the Benefit of Maintenance Therapy with Rituximab in Advanced Follicular Lymphoma

The objective of this program is to the review the clinical findings from the phase III PRIMA trial on the potential benefit of rituximab maintenance therapy in advanced follicular lymphoma (FL).  This program is presented by Dr. Armando Lopez-Guillermo.

 

Program 2 - Debate: Is Stage III-IV Follicular Lymphoma a Curable Disease in the Absence of Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant

Dr Rena Buckstein and Dr Brent Zanke present and debate the available evidence whether stage III-IV follicular lymphoma is a curable dsease.

 

Program 3 -  New Treatment Directions in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

The objective of this program is to review treatment options for patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and how they relate to clinical practice.  This program is presented by Dr Barbara Eichhorst.
